La musica ha diverse patrie sonore, una per ogni paese, regione, persona. Ma non ha i limiti territoriali che sono tipici di un posto geografico: in realtà la musica ha tante patrie e nessun confine. Stili e linguaggi si muovono, si incontrano, si mescolano in un confronto continuo, grazie a questa assenza di limiti e contorni che sono propri della musica stessa.
Musiche migranti nasce da tanti incontri: di persone, di culture, ma soprattutto di suoni. La migrazione è una costante dell'uomo, così come lo è della musica, ed è attraverso l'incontro con Hannes, Eugjen, Diana, Gilson, Federico e le loro rispettive patrie sonore che siamo stati noi stessi migranti in differenti paesi e abbiamo avuto il piacere di assaggiare e assaporare i suoni, le melodie,i ritmi che hanno visto crescere e diventare da bambini ad adulti questi musicisti eccezionali.
Music belongs to various sound countries, and there can be a music for each country, or region, or even person out there. However, music doesn't display the same territorial limits that are typical of a physical place. In fact, music has various home countries and knows no borders. Styles and languages move around, meet and mix in continuous
confrontations. This is a result of the absence of borders, and defines music.
Musiche Migranti comes out in many encounters of people, cultures and above all, of sounds. Migration has been a constant in human history, and it also has been constantly present in music. It is through encounters with Hannes, Eugjen, Diana, Gilson
and Federico and their sound-countries that we ourselves have become migrants in different countries and have the privilege and pleasure to sample and enjoy those sounds, melodies and rhythms that were present to them when they were growing up and developing, becoming the excellent musicians that they are.
